The JourneySNEAKER MUMS: FROM ERRANDS TO HUMPDAY MEET-UPS

December 7, 201617

It’s mid week, you’re trying to meet work deadlines, planning your child’s/childrens activities for the rest of the week and organising family functions over the weekend. I don’t know about you, but I’ve always found Wednesday’s a little hectic. For some of us, it’s also errands day. On the flip side, it’s humpday! Permission to squeeze in a short catch up session with friends later in the day? Yup, I’m taking it!

For errands, I went for a look I absolutely love…sweater dress, anyone? You’ve noticed in some of my previous posts on Instagram, I’ve worn one a few times. We threw in a pair of white high tops, a bold accessory and bam! Running errands never felt so Hollywood ?

I keep my hair in a knot pretty often, not only because Huru has learnt the art of pulling it (so this saves me the pain!), but also because its very convenient. Sometimes mine is a wee bit messy, but if you manage to get it neat and tight, it’s pretty chic!

For that humpday catch up session with the girls we threw in this edgy jacket. Comfortable and so doable. Let me know if you try

out a similar look and please share those pics with me on IG! Happy humpday, folks!

I have been a sneaker mum ever since the birth of my son who came one month before Huru. I love the convenience, comfort without compromising on style. This post just confirmed that sneaker mums can be sassy too.

I feel encouraged. I’ve been really struggling with all my outfits, it’s not the same anymore when you have a 15Months busy boy ?. I can’t wear heels, jewelries, no long hair either. He will pull them all. I still want to look good without having to put on too much efforts on everything, and I feel like you have rescued me from looking shabby. Thank You Janet. You always look so gorgeous and you have such a humble spirit. God bless.
