The JourneySTAY HUNGRY, STAY FOOLISH

January 4, 201719

We all want success. We all want to be better versions of ourselves. But how many of us are hungry and foolish enough to get there? To build our legacy? To prove the naysayers wrong? For the title of this post I’ve quoted Steve Jobs, co-founder, chairman and CEO of Apple Inc. So it is safe to say he was onto something, right? For all those who continue to break barriers in various industries around the world, the one thing you’ll usually hear them say is that they were determined to go all in when going for what they wanted. Hunger. They were determined to fail, try and again and eventually succeed Hunger. They were determined to lose friends, invest and lose their money in order to pursue and build their dream. Foolish. They were victimised discouraged, persecuted. So what are YOU willing to do to be the most successful version of you? Food for thought. I know I’m definitely feeling challenged to stay hungry, stay foolish.

Wow, a nice piece it is!

Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish has been my MOTTO for years now and Steve Jobs is my Legend in the world of entrepreneurship.
Thinking different, apart from the rest of the crowd, can often be interpreted as foolish. Conventional wisdom is neither conventional, nor wise; people that adhere to the status quo will not grow in either mind or spirit. Our nature is to reject the safe way, to experience things that are beyond our capability, to reach for the unattainable…
Stay Hungry = stay hungry to learn more about the World / Keep an open mind
Stay Foolish = don’t surrender to societal norms.

    Thanks Janet.
