You never quite know what you’ll find when you look up, especially when you’ve buried your head for so long. Isn’t that who we are nowadays? Staring at our phones most of the day, burying our heads in our hands, lamenting, too frightened to face our fears and realities.
It’s easy to walk through life ignoring the mess you’ve made or the mistakes you didn’t correct.
I’ve been there. But the thing is, it catches up with you. Even when you try to bury something that you’re not necessarily proud of, there will come a time when you’ll find yourself looking to right your wrongs.
So look up; it may seem hard at first, there may even be uncomfortable moments, hard truths to swallow, but you will be surprised at the release that follows when you are honest with yourself. Like the petal fall, where the flower reaches the end of its development, your new you beckons. You grow, you mature.
Sorrow looks back, worry looks around, Faith looks up ?

Your mistakes catch up with you. Learning to pay the consequences of my mistakes willingly has been my biggest challenge.
